Lightseeing in Berlin! For the 10th time artists from Germany and abroad will cast a fascinating light on the capital this year: Festival of Lights turns Berlin into a bright sea of colors for a whole week in October. Between October 10th and 19th light installations and projections make Brandenburg Gate, TV Tower & Co. shiny highlights of the night.

This year’s festival follows the slogan “Colors of Joy”, its heart will be Potsdamer Platz again. Night after night you can stroll around the city to check out the countless lights on your own, but it’s also possible to do a “Lightseeing Tour” along the bright sights. There are limitless options – whether you want to do it by foot, on a bicycle, a Segway, a horse cart, a boat or even with a hot air balloon is up to you. All tours and further information can be found at: www.festival-of-lights.de/en

The perfect base for your lightseeing tour is a stay at Industriepalast Hostel in Berlin Friedrichshain. You are not far from all the shining sights here and in the bars and clubs around the Hostel you can let your night of lights come to an end.

Enjoy the sea of lights,
